To create a data backup on a USB device:
- Change the system password to an access right that permits access to Backup.
- From the main menu bar, click .
- A prompt displays in the GPD - Data Backup window.

Mount the USB device. Press ENTER when ready, A to abort.
- Insert the USB device for backing up the dispenser into any available USB port of the process control computer in your dispenser and press ENTER.
- A prompt displays in the GPD - Data Backup window.
Press ENTER to use the default backup directory /dos/c/Backups;
Otherwise, enter the name of the desired directory:If the prompt displayed in the GPD - Data Backup window is again
Mount the USB device. Press ENTER when ready, A to abort.

- The system begins the backup. Ignore the following error (this information is for GPD Global use only).
